FOR TL LIKE WHOA: this is what it would look like! i was going to do this like a year ago, but decided after prepping it that i wasn't feelin' it! something subtle like a louver / vent that was suggested on the other post would look good. i am cramped in the garage with this pic, but i don't think it works on the TL? what do you guys think?

4 of 4 , the scoop comes with 3m molding tape to tape it to the hood! what a joke! fly off at 120mph! it needs to be put on professionally by a body shop, and i never inquired as to the cost of such an install.

 

scoop pics gone! maybe arntl could just wipe out the thread? dead issue!

 

3m tape is strong. if anything, you should worry about not being able to take it off in the future

thnx for the post kman! but i was thinking of a "reversed" scoop/vent...so nothing will be sticking up off the hood...i was thinking of putting 2 reverse vents 1 on each side of the hood. try to imagine this...in the first pictuire that u posted, see how there are 2 lines on the hood? i was thinking of puttin them right on the outide of the 2 lines..any1 with photoshop skillz plz help me out? thnx

This is a big no-no for the TL.

 

Nah, even with louvres (if that is what you are thinking of doing) I just don't see it...(do you have the carbon fiber hood?) I just prefer the clean look of the TL...but I am more of a sleeper style anyway, if I could have a TL that ran 12's - 13's (damn tranny!) but looked bone stock I would be the happiest man alive

 

You put that on your "United Colors of Benetton Edition" TL and I'll come down to FL and kick your ass personaly:p
