lowering question

as soon as all the snow melts i really want to lower my 02 acura TL. It has the stock 17" rims and stock tires. My question is how low can i go with stock rims and tires without rubbing.

^its okay, hes new. Welcome to the forums. I'd say 1.75" rear and 1.5" front would be a good drop w/o concerns about rubbing/scraping (considering you ride alone or with 1 other passenger). H&R #50103 springs would do it.

For a decent drop with a comfortable ride yes. You can always get some stiffer springs, but that would be . Try coilovers, you can adjust the ride height with those and be able to carry a load if needed. I would recommend Tein coils for the drop range you're looking for.
