Lowered TL's in NY

i was wondering how your experience is with lowered springs and driving in NY... i went with my friend to the clubSI.com meet in jersey... and he has a civic si with a 2 inch drop and rims and i see him driving real slow around turns so he doesnt rub and avoiding every little bump in the road.. and couldnt avoid a few of them and they hit pretty hard... i was sitting there and i see stuff fly all over the place... it just seem like the cars no fun to drive having to avoid all the little bumps and stuff.. i like driving my tl and not caring about pot holes and bump that arent too big and stuff.. and im kinda scared about scaping too cause i scrape now with stock springs and the OEM bodykit but i want to drop my car cause it looks soo much better without that huge gap.. please let me know how your experience is like with ur TL lowered and what happens during the winter when it snows and stuff... thanks guys

I'm in Kweenz and Manhattan all the time and I try to drive very cautiously coz I've scraped the front of my kit plenty of times. But the only time you should really worry about scraping is on high slopes. Other than that your car should be fine with comptech springs. And the drop didn't affect my winter driving at all.

I have a 3" drop on my TL and I avoid driving in the city. But if and when I do, I drive very carefully. But nothing ever flies around in my car. I also have the OEM bodykit and it's been scraped a few times but not in the city.
About winter driving, I have the Apexi Coilovers so I am raising my TL back up and putting back on my OEM rims/tires.
BTW IMO, the advantage of a lowered car far outweighs the disadvantage.
