low ride

need low ride advice

Three pics of my '00:

1. Currently
2. If it were lowered an inch
3. If it had 18" stock rims

I used Paintbrush and Photo Editor to virtually lower the car in the 2nd (barely noticible) and expand the rims on the 3rd. Too bad Acura doesn't make a larger version of the stock 16" rims I currently have.

Questions: What's involved in lowering the car--springs, shocks, or both? Any recommendations?

the rims would look nice in 18's. nice job. as far as lowering it could be done with just shocks

That is the question. I believe CT claims their shorter springs don't require new shocks.

You don't "NEED" new shocks for any new spring set-up. Now whether or not you SHOULD get them is debatable. I personally don't think it's necessary unless the car has alot of miles on the stock ones.

When my stock 1s go, I will upgrade then...
