loud clicking noise while braking

2002 TL-S, 26k miles. The problem started after several 100°+ days. While braking (meduim pressure on pedal) at speeds less than 20mph I hear a loud clicking noise that follows the speed of the wheels. Sometimes the steering wheel shakes, sometimes it doesn't. As the car comes to a stop the noise gets worse and starts popping. I've pulled the wheels and checked for loose nuts / bolts, etc...found nothing.
Anybody else?
It's going to the dealer on Tuesday. Just trying to go in there with some info.

warped rotors.... if it clicks on the turns, then it is a busted cv joint... check the strut joints, cv joints, rotors and look for any rubbing from the rubber or calipers. My cousin's car had the same problem, but his was a caliper peice sticking out and everytime the wheel turns it clicks....

You might try checking the backing plates behind the rotors. If they get slightly bent they will touch the rotors and cause a clicking sound as the rotors turn & rub the plates. Very easy to fix, just pull them with your finger tips away from the rotors. They are pretty flemsy.

My brakes click as well but thats from the slotted rotors.
