Looking for yellow HID fogs but little $$

Ok guys, I wan't to upgrade my fogs to a nice yellow HID but I'm low on cash. I'm seeing I can get a kit for as little as $35 on ebay but I'm afraid that I'll get what i pay for. Should I just go for it or should I shell out over $100 for a kit from a JDM site. Thanks

HIDextra maybe? Prices aren't too bad there and they offer a warranty. Don't go for slim ones, those are crap. Bought the slims from HIDextra, and yellow bulbs showed green. Switched to a beat up set of regular sized ballasts and they work great.

DDM has kits for $35 that I've been using for almost 3 years now. Still works fine with no issues, only issue is the bulb life was out but lifetime warranty lets you get new bulbs free of charge.

www.retrofitsource.com FTW

These guys sell Morimoto kits and in terms of 3000k kits, are by far the closest when compared to the color/performance of Philips brand 85122YX bulbs. A liittle more expensive then a DDM kit however OEM reliability.

Ok thanks for the replies and pics. I'm going to go with the DDMtuning raptor full size kit. It's a great price and seems quality enough and with the warranty you can't go wrong. Also, can they be recommended for the low beam HID D2R/D2S?

DDM can be used for any application, fogs or highbeams. Ive had 2 DDM kits so far and its been about 3-4 years now, and guess what. They still running strong! I'd get them if you're on a budget.

I also have the Morimoto 55w Ballast. I love these as much as the ddm but it cost me a pretty penny.

Lets be honest.. who wouldnt love a white HID ballast? So nice imo..

Ok so I went ahead and ordered a set from an ebay seller with good rep and a warranty since I didn't feel like paying the $18 shipping fee from DDM. Hopefully these work out. I'll post pics when I get em installed.

Are those the ddm ones? And are you using the yellow cover over the lens as well?

Not DDm. Mine one is from ebay but they are all same quality. Not yellow tint. It's yellow color lens with 3000k HID bulbs.

I also recommend DDM tuning I had a set on my integra and they were like $70 shipped for 55watt 10K and they were EXTREMELY bright and never gave me any problems.
