Yeah I saw that thread when I saw how much you paid for all that stuff I was like I have been trying to find a tl in a junkyard around me with black interior to finish switching everything to black. There are none around me especially with the black wood which is what I really want. I got all the seats for my car for 300$ then had to swap the fronts because they were off a 99. The car I got them from had low miles when it was totaled. I was trying to find type a seats but could not find any in good shape

My driver side was terrible and passenger side was a little bad. I went to Acura to get the leather and they wanted like 2200$ and I told them you are on something. The guy didn't like that but no way I was going to pay that much for just the leather found these for cheap and got them for 1/8 of the price

No it is genuine Honda parts from a 99. Cost me 300$ for all the seats then had to pay a local shop 300$ to swap everything over and make a couple of repairs to it. The 99s don't have side air bags so I had the cushions and leather swap overes to my frame. I wanted type s seats but could not find any in good shape

I had a 99 with Beige interior. Really liked that! Now I have the 2003 Type S with ALL black interior. Didn't think I'd like the black but getting use to it. The Type S seats are MUCH more comfortable. They are firmer and long distance drives are a lot more enjoyable in them.

Has anyone ever tried one of those mobile leather repairs? My steering wheel is showing some serious wear and tear and my driverside side bottom cusion is cracking. Well the vinyl is cracking on the sides. Any ideas? I dont want to get a new bottom casue I am sure the mismatch in color after 11 years would be pretty noticable.
