Post Looking for Yellow Bulbs to replace Fogs

I want to replace the fog light bulbs in the TL-S with yellows since the stock ones clash with the clean white HIDs. Any ideas? I hear PIAA 9006 in Ion Yellow are good, but expensive. I want bright and yellow and ones that will fit the car without burning the wiring. Thanks.

Yeah, the PIAA bulbs are expensive but there are others out there. Just not too sure about the quality. Here's a few places you can look.

Question

Now, I'm looking to buy the PIAA in Ion Yellow, but it seems to be hard to find this color. The question is whether it's worth it (is it really that much more yellow?, How long do they last)

Any insight? I saw them on the above pages, but you can only buy through some complex mail order process with a company in Canada I think. Oh well...I'll keep looking.

Cool

Just get the PIAA Superwhite platinum bulbs. They supposedly match the HID lights very well. It's going to be tough to get the fogs in yellow, because they are 9006 bulbs which are essentially high beam bulbs. How many cars do you see with yellow high beams. Not many, which is why it's tough to find what you're looking for....

I was looking for the Ion Yellows a few months back. But, gave up. Hard to find and probably not worth thee $80+ bucks for yellow lights.

I found this site and it offers Piaa Ion Yellow bulbs for our fogs. The issue is, I don't know whether I can trust them, since it's not an Internet pruchase and it sounds like it's in Canada. Any thoughts?

Cool

I will also have to agree with juniorbean
because getting fogs lights that match your HIDs look bad a$$. However, I wouldn't spend over 80 bucks for Piaa Plasma. Instead, I bought Plasma bulbs by hiper industries from the groupbuycenter.com ($24 shipped) and they look great.

Did you get the Hyper White Plazma?
Do they match ok? I wanted to get PIAA Super Plasma from Ebay, just don't feel like paying $100 for bulbs.

They give a pure white output. I had these for my old accord and they worked great. I believe they lasted almost a year until one of them blew out. They are not an exact match compared to the HID, but pretty darn close. But come on, for 24 bucks, you can't go wrong. Check my site, I have a pic of it with the fogs on, but not that great. Hope this helps.
