Looking for Navi Wiring

Hello all.
I'm looking for information on the Gen2 and Gen3 navi wiring. i.e. what each wire does. I'd like to find the information for the LCD end as well as the Navi unit itself. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd greatly appreciate it since I've been searching for days and no luck.

Thanks,
Frank

Thanks for the reply.
I had seen this before, but it's not really what I am looking for, unless I missed something. I have two potential projects in mind:

1) replace my 2nd gen navi w/ a 3rd gen. Probably not going to happen since it'll be expensive and I'm not sure I could ever get the dash to look right.

2) potentially replace the 2nd gen navi unit w/ a PC. I've found information online regarding the RGBS signals, so I could display a PC screen on the navi screen, however, I'd also like to use the buttons and the touchscreen. I know this is an ambitious idea, but It's possible if i can figure out which wires communicate the info back to the unit in the trunk. I have access to a good oscilliscope and a good logic analyzer. I am also a EE that does FPGA development. Lastly, I'm very good at reverse engineering protocols. So if I can find out which wires send the signals and if they are digital, I could get a PC to use the same screen.

I'd also like to make use of the antenna for the GPS, so I'd like to get all the wiring diagrams so I can put something together.

Thanks,
Frank

I have the helm electronic troubleshooting manual. I actually used it to install the Nav in my non-Nav TL. It was very helpful. Here is the link. Very useful to have.
