Looking for Bypass Valve Actuator

hello all,

need some help. My cruise control doesnt work. after looking under the hood i found the cruise control cable was off near the TB. i tried to hook it back up but noticed the part where the cable hooks on to (spring lever) is broken. Does any one have one for sale or know of a scrap yard. I dont need the whole TB just the bypass valve. This is the part where beside it the accelerator cable is hooked on to. Part# for ref is 17151-PFW-J02. For an 02 TL-S. Heres a pic for ref (1).

TIA

thats not the cruise control module. thats the intake manifold runner controller. it opens during vtec.

if your cruise doesnt work i would check the fuses. the cruis control cable attaches to your throttle body and it controlled by a black box by your fluid reservior.

if the imrc is also broken then u might want to check the black marker

The fuses are fine. I went with what honda printed for me and he said it was the actuator. But u may be right. All i need is the the part where the cruise cable is attached to...the TB, Question, would i need a new TB or is that black plastic piece on the TB come seperate?

LOL. maybe im making it confusing. Ill try to clarify. The TB has attached to it an accelerator and cruise control cable. If someone wanted to accelerate the engine they could pull on the lever of the TB to open the butterfly hence reving the engine. the cruise cable is attached in the same area of the accelerator acble but on a different lever. That lever is broken, i cant put the cable back on. the lever is made of plastic (black in color) holds the butterlfy open when cruise is activated. let me know andd ill take pics.

To answer your question (if it is the cam that the cable attaches to on the TB) no, you cant buy that piece separately. Your best bet is to find a salvage yard to take one off of.
