I was looking today. I almost cried. Someone must be dead. Very Sad.

Found Cl-S rims though.

That CL must have rolled, or else something came crashing down onto the roof like a deer carcass. It's a one in a million chance and I hope my number never comes up...

This is why side airbags are important.

Man... was that a brand new car? It's still got the stiker on it. Believe it or not, that's the first TL/CL with nav that i've seen wrecked. All the others have been non-navi cars (~8)!

Mafioso Says

I think Black TL meant the Drivers Side of the car Airbag, not the Side Airbag.

judging from the wrap damage to the roof of the first tl, this is prolly a sideways impact into a pole, tree, or other immovable object.

I once saw the aftermath of a mazda mx6 gt turbo (that'd be the old turbo ford probe gt for those keeping score at home) versus tree impact and it looked *exactly* like this. the road had a right hand bend in it, the young lady driving was speeding, got spooked, let off the gas and lift-throttle oversteered the mazda (and they were known for this trait) into a tree *on the inside of the turn*. the impact was on the driver's side (yep, the car was facing backwards on impact) just behind the door handle. the driver, front seat passenger, and the passenger-side rear seat passenger all came out with minor scrapes and bruises. the girl behind the driver was killed on impact.

personally, even with door beams and side airbags, I'd still bet on the pole to win in any meaningful encounter with my car...

(and don't even ask about the zx-11 vs. hyundai pass-side door I saw soon after...)
