Talking Long time coming....

So I finally decided to start doing major work on my car; I've had it since last year and been doing small things (well not that small; but cant see too much). Since I bought it I did all the pm work since i couldnt find any records... Timing, mounts, brakes, small peices that were damaged. After I got into a little accident I finally decided... its time for some looks. I bought some cl-s rims off a buddies 02.... Fed-Ex is suppose to stop by a few times this week with a a few goodies (Wings West Full Lip Kit, OEM TL Lip, HKS Dragger axle back, AGX Adjustable Shocks, H&R Sport Springs, Acura Shock Mounts, Mugen Replica Wing, Sonoma Roof Spoiler, 8K HID bulbs, 02 Tails, and an OEM 6Disc Radio) but I also had to buy some replacement parts from the accident too... It hurt the pocket but I think you guys will like what it will look like after its done... Plus new paint job on the car too.... IS300 Graphite Grey Pearl =) I think it will give the car a really nice look once its done... I might throw on some 07 TL-S rims (Hyper silver)..... I think Im good on spending money on teh car for a little bit .... Im hoping it all works out. (BTW its a 99 TL-P)

I rather know that it was done then somewhere down the line it breaking down on me =/ ...But that took out most of my money before because I only bought the original parts and some of the acura dealers kinda over charged me as i found out later on but oh well. My only concern is how bad is it to change the rack? I've never done that and I cant find any threads on it... But thats the project for this week... as well as whatever comes in from the purchases

That's like modding most of your exterior already. Good job. How much you spent total for all those parts?

I just kept lookin at cars on here and debating what i thought Id want on mine... dont worry this is only the begining... Im hoping to get some more parts this summer but for now this is more then enough. Im way excited but still dissappointed cuz its not fast enough for me. Tom seen my car before but I'll take a few pics hopefully it makes enough of a difference.

I bought both lips cuz i wasnt sure which i liked more; the one i dont use will be on the black market by may 1... Im hoping to finish putting it all together by the end of the month. Im deffinetly taking pics, i might even get one of my friends to do a photoshoot for me with a few friends.

As for power mods Im eventually going to swap in the motor out of a type s and the 6speed also (I've been asking around about it for a while but cant find too many good deals) but at the same time I kinda wanna do the 3.5 internals into my tl-p but i dont know which would get better results... for now the 4 speed has handled a lot of abuse but i know it might be time soon =/

The Tl-s rims- Im still debating it because recently i found someone who could help me out on rims... I've been looking at the R-1 Drift rims cuz Im too poor for the volks but thats ok.

....Mod bug bit me hard a while ago but i wanted to make sure the car will run right before i start modding ti so just wanted to make sure all teh mechanical stuff would work right... I've been tempted before to buy mods but i had to make sure a 99 wouldnt die out on me either lol

as for how much i spent.... too much right now but thats ok... its an expensive hobby but i like to do things properly and completely... unfortunetly its never cheap. Somewhere in the Neighborhood of about 5k (including the timing mounts and the body damage from the accident and rack&pinion)

You bought both lip kits and your to poor for volks? haha sounds like you've got some work ahead of you. Thats a lot of money to drop when you could probably get a type s for about the same price of all the work lol. Good luck man.

I am aware of this problem and have sent a PM, and an email, to WDP01TL, and still no reply.

He previously replied that he had been through some problems but was shipping the kit, and still no kit.

Here's a link to the thread, which was closed and marked sold two months ago. https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/sold-wings-west-kit-vogtlands-springs-700173/
