loaner car
i brought my 02 tls into the dealer in NJ to have some stuff fixed. they said they had no loaners even though i made an appointment 2 weeks earlier. i said i live in staten island and im not leaving without a car. they had to give me a 2004 TSX. the car is great. needs a little more power. doors sound tinny when closed. other than that, you cant get a better car for 28k with nav.

I think since you forced them and it was there fault that they didn't arrange you a loaner, so they probably gave you one of there demos..
Or did u get a BRAND NEW 0 Mileage TSX?
I think you were a exception, they dont go around giving cars like that for Loaners..

They gave me an 04 TSX with 38 miles on it. It's light blue with gray leather. they said they had no other loaners left but i already had made an appointment. The dealer is Ryan's Open Road Acura on rt. 18 in NJ. The TSX has decent pickup for a 4 cylinder but it is no comparison with my TL-s. The funny thing is they said they had no loaners left but when i opened the glove compartment i saw it said loaner car on the sticker that they took off the window. Also, the sound system is Pioneer and it is no where near the 320 watts they claim. The only way i found out it was pioneer was by looking in the trunk. My Bose sounds 10X better. The only thing i dont understand is why no power passengers seat. Whats up with that.

Three Wheelin'
I just returned the 2004 TSX w/auto loaner to the dealer after dropping off my 2002 TLS for the rotors and center arm rest fix this morning. It was a nice car. It has dual zone temperature control which current TL does not have. The ride was comfortable. The sound system has lots more guts than the BOSE but the sound quality is not as clear and "crispy " compare to BOSE. Engine vice, it just can't compare to V6 in TLS. When I was driving around 60mph, I downshifted to 3rd in SS and WOT. It took the car a while to get to 80mph where I shut down.
It also does not have the "VTEC" sound at high RPM. ![Big Grin](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I did not have a chance to check the rest of the stuff in there.![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Overall the car is a lot better than RSX that I have for loaner last time.

yea the rsx i had as a loaner the first time, its nice but not for me. as for the radio in the tsx, the sound quality sucks compared to bose. im a big guy and the tl fits me a lot better than the tsx. the dual zone is nice to have and so is the turn signals on the outside mirrors.
