so i remember seeing the lip kit on here sumwhere for sale and now i cant find it--i think it was a vendor or a link to another site

i have a 99 TL and im ready to buy a kit for it ---just cant find it

if sum1 can help me out i wud really appreciate it alot

there was a guy in NY selling an OEM lip kit for 700 or 600 shipped awhile back and it was brand new just had to be repainted. I believe some of the kit was blue and some was black. Ill try to look for the link hold on but he might have taken it out of the BM because no one was serious on buying it.

You mostly see them for the 02-03 but ill keep an eye out for you too because I know how hard it was to find one for myself when I was looking.

I'd been looking for 8 months and finally last week one became available. I think I checked the BM 6 or 7 times a day. I guess it's all about patience and timing.

 

well i just found a kit---well except the front lip

i used BING and typed in acura lip kit

i think the site is called OEM LIPS.COM

but its that flex fiber bullshit----is this any good ???

 

its hit or miss. they can crack easily when flexed too much but if you are not that low then it wont be too much of a problem. especially for the rear lip and side skirts.

 

genuine wings west fronts, flex fiber sides and rears

but keep in mind, you could get the entire WW kit from andy's auto for 700$ plus shipping

 

Only way to find OEM is to find it used or to pick up the phone and start calling dealers and see what they have in stock. I have had one laying in my basement for 4 years now. I just have never had the time to paint the fenders where the mudflaps have cut the paint. I will be putting them on this spring.

 

That stuff is fine for the sides and rear, the front i would try to locate a oem unit that will flex more.
