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search for d2r HID on ebay and you will find what you are looking for. our bulb number is d2r.

 

ok guys heres the deal i bought a pair of lights off some one on this forum now i dont want to put his name out there and look like an asshole if i am accusing him of scamming and his intent really was not that. BUT i took my bulb out and its alot fatter than the bulb i was sold the bulb i was sold supposedly came out of a 2000 tl STOCK. this bulb says OSRAM XENRC D2R 35W 66050 GERMANY 03X DOT q1k4 and i did put my bulb back in my car but it did say something different. but my dad took my car for a spin just now cause i was tellin him i thinks its time for a new tranny #3 so when he comes back im gonna take it out and tell you guys what i see. thanks.

 

just bc it says different stuff on the bulb, doesnt mean it wont fit. its like saying a different brand and/or part number. that bulb will work fine. if you got 2 from the person on this forum, replace both left and right so they will match and work perfectly. do not touch the glass of the bulb. good luck.

yea for real.....most TL owners would be shit out of luck and forkin over way to much money at the dealership....this forum must save thousands of dollars and hours of frustration

 

I gottanother QUESTION FOLKS. now i want to have 6000k 's in my car do i just buy the BULB or is there other things i gotta buy id like to have HID LOW BEAM HID FOG's HID HIGH BEAMS (mabey the highbeams) but gimme some advice

 

Hid lows u just need the bulbs


hid fogs you need the bulbs and ballasts and wiring harness

highs... dont recommend unless you have money to spend. it is rarely used and will probably be a lot more glare

 

High beams are not usually on for long periods of time which is why Acura didn't install HID high beams since it takes time for them to get up to full brightness. Plus I have heard (true?) that it's not good to turn HIDs on and off all the time, which is how high beams are used.

 

just buy some piaa bulbs they are so bright
