PIAA's are usually pretty expensive. What you said is a normal price that anyone would pay for. The only thing is, I have a friend that put PIAA's on his car, originally the bulb was blue but after about 6 months his bulbs faded into a pure white. Due to that I dont think that I would pay 300+ $ for fog lights if they are going to burn out.

I don't think that it was the bulb that changes colors. It might have been that the lense color faded. But maybe i'm wrong...

Actually I think you are right, but then again it is not my car so I wouldnt really know that well. I remember looking at display PIAA's at a car show in Balt. and the lenses looked tinted. Still the fact remains that they cost more then new springs or an intake and they burn up in a few months.

I got my PIAA 1700x installed for @ $225 here in NJ. I guess it depends on the place you go. Just shop around because I think $300 is a little on the high side.

Yes every bulb will eventually burn out. My 1700x did burn out so I decided to get something different. I got the PIAA new Solitaire series in Plasma Blue. It looks really nice. It is not as bright as the 1700x but a lot cheaper at $115 and it is a PIAA.

Hey 14.9,
Go to the PIAA website at piaa.com and navigate to the new solitaire series. You can purchase them online for that price.
