I find myself once again enticed by the LexusGS430(2002, or should i just wait for the 03'), does any here have any comments, infact does any1 here have any friends that sell Lexus, or any place(perferably miami, but anywhere is fine) I should go to buy 1??

Incase you're wondering why, I just want a car that I can drive and not hear noises, or the road, im becoming an old man...but i still need the speed..

 

talk to shoofintl, he works at a lexus dealer here in NYC. Maybe he can refer you to a particular dealer out in Florida or can help you with any info on the car.

 

if you get it the 430 you should get the L-Tuned edition

 

l-tuned edition gs430? basically it's just 430 but you get l-tuned stuff for yourself. getting them directly from dealer is like getting the body kits directly from dealer......

well 03 would be pretty much the same as the 02, maybe tiny bit of changes on the features but not much, coz' they just had a face lift in 01 i believe.

another thing is in 04 they will totally redesign the whole gs4. no one has any idea what's new about it or how it looks. but rumors are it might be gs500 and definitely more hp (i'd say 350). so i don't really know if you should wait (the car will come out in fall 03 i believe) that long....

oh, and of course, there are tons more mods for the gs than the tls, which is awesome (it could drain my wallet easily)

 

If you can afford a GS430, what the heck are you doing with a TL? Its funny, I have had my 2002 TL for a year with no rattles, yet many here have these problems.

 

you can just hope it stays that way. i was saying that before i got my first rattle too.

anyway, i think it's hard to justify whether you should get a car when you have certain money, etc... i mean, why i got my tls, i had enough money to get a 330i, but i stayed with tls coz' i thought it's a better deal, it's fun to drive, and there are plenty of mods for me to "start with"
