Let the hunt continue...

I left you guys about a month ago. I took a trip to Greece and got back last week. Took a Western Regional licensing exam up in Oregon, and now I am back in southern Cali. I truly needed the break after Dental school, and believe it or not, I actually missed reading your posts.

I started deleting all the junk e-mail that accumulated in my account, when I come upon an email from the manager at my local Acura dealership. He introduces himself and starts the email with "I hope you are having a great vacation in Greece..." I had mentioned to the salesperson I was working with that I was going to Greece to relax after school, so that they do not think I am using them and just forget about them - basically to assure them that I am loyal so long as we are all honest. Anyway, the manager continues in his email and says "I've heard about how much research you've been doing about our TL's, very impressive (I edubicated one of their salesmen on my first trip to their dealership). I also hear you are a fellow USC alumni... take your time but please come see me personally when you have decided on what it will take to get you your new car".

What do you guys think? Should I walk in there and just write down the price and options I want? or let them speak and try and give me more themselves without actually asking for it?

Your thoughts and opinions would be appreciated.

And again, thank you to those of you who have helped me thus far. TopGum if you are still out there I would like to take you up on that dental chat because I do have some questions.

Cheers!
Peter

... this is it folks I can almost smell that new car smell...

haha id do research and see how low are car with the options u want sold for. then go in there let them make u a deal, and if its seems that they arent really helping u show them what u were thinking and that is has been done, cuz no dealership would ever sell a car unless they can make a profit.

Visiting Europe gets me down and happy at the same time. I love visiting my family over there and relaxing on the beaches, but the down side is you get to see some amazing vehicles we will never see over here......

I went to Athens, Patras, Egion (northern tip of Peloponisos) and took the ferry over to Rome for a couple of days with my uncle who drives this suhweet Lancia Integrale. A little old, but it certainly makes you sit up straight when he guns it.

All in all it was a great trip, but I couldn't wait to come back and finialize things with Acura for my new TL-S.
