Anyone know what size the LED is on drivers door? This is the Red LED used for our security indicator right by the door lock. I want to replace it with a different color and wanted to know what size and maybe where to get it for the cheapest.

 

you can use either 3mm or 5mm, both will fit. RadioShack, cheap stuff.

 

is the installation easy i was thinkin about doin this myself.....u would have to remove the door panels and wat else??

 

Its not that easy.. but unless you can solder your good to go. There is a small circuit board that the LED is solder to. Yes you will need to take the entire door panel off.

 

oh ok thanks for the answer.....BTW the front lip on ya car is SICK is it suppose to be top secret lol im guessin u wont be tellin anyone wat kinda lip that is huh??
