LED turn signal

I want to replace my amber incandescent turn signal to white LED (yes, it is legal in Texas)

What I'm not sure about is 2 things:
1. if i get a 1157 LED tower from autolumination.com, do I need to add any resistors or something for it to work as a parking light and as a turn signal? because the incandescent ones have 2 filaments, how will that work with LED?

2. do I need to add anything for the signal to work at same speed as factory speed?

thanks in advance for your help
mina

p.s. i already searched the forums a lot and couldn't really get an answer.

the led will work as a parking light and as a turn signal at the same time. your gonna need to add a resistor in the wires for the led bc they will blink faster than stock. ppl and you (if your not used to it) will think that you have a turning signal bulb out. when i had led in my car the fast blinking pissed me off so i took them out.

thanks for the response...

what kind of resistor? where do i get it from? do i just cut one of the wires and serial it in there? if so, does it matter which wire it is? thanks again, i really appreciate your help.
