After much fighting the LED brake lights and turn signals have been removed. I really really liked the look though. A summary of the problems:

Installed LED turn signals in rear:
Relay thinks bulbs are shot, goes into hyperspeed.

Installed LED brake lights (7443):
BRAKE LAMP light in dash comes on thinking a bulb is out
The spolier LED strip stays light 100% of the time
Car will not let you engage cruise control

For all of these reasons, the bulbs are back to stock now.

If anyone wants to purchase (at a discount) four (4) 7443 red led clusters let me know. They are in perfect condition and could be used in another car that doesn't check for brake light failures.

 

Hmm, I might be interested... all you have to do is replace a blinker module right?

 

The bulbs I'm trying to sell are typically for brake lights only (dual circuit low/high). The turning signals bulbs have already been returned to AutoZone for a refund. .. but, yes, the relay gets replaced with a non-load sensing version but I don't have time to dig into the dash right now.

 

How much? Hmm, maybe I'll try some experiments with those LED bulbs.

 

I paid $9.99/bulb for 4 ($40 total). I'll sell them for half that. (+ $5 to send them to you priority mail). [Because they were special order I can't just return them.]

 

I just returned mine after having the same probs. Not to mention they arent bright during the day.
