From: The grande.. Riverdale NJ.. Hopefully moving to skyline village in Lincoln park NJ..yes dirty jersey
I have 2 8 inch strips of LED's just waiting to go into my 2g cl headlight.
I have a extra headlight casing laying around so I was gonna take it apart and give it a try..Why not , might look sick.. I personally LOVE them..

Hmmm... I do like the concept of the LED lights but I have yet to see an installation on one of our cars which I'd want done to my own.
Question though, the idea of HID highbeams has been something I've thought about but since they're also the DRL the idea wouldn't make much sense. How easy would it be to have the LED lights be your DRL just like with Audis, have the lowbeams/fogs for night use (better to have the LEDs still on, or no?), and then lowbeam HID + highbeam HID for when you really wanna see that extra distance?
As someone who frequently drives off into the middle of nowhere with no lights other than my car I find the standard highbeams to be next to useless, which is why I'm wondering if the HID highbeams would really work or not.

Skeete, I have similar LED's on my Car also...I think they look decent. I mounted them on the Bottom just as you had...Was thinking that they might have looked better on the top...who knows. Great job though!
P.S. looks like you figured out the easiest way to run the wiring, I took the whole damn bumper off...took a few hours for that alone!

Persia-TL sorry I haven't been searching for my own posts but I bought them off a guy In my city on kijiji. Check ebay too. easy to install just look at my original post. you doont need to remove the bumper like 2003 A-spec did. just look under the bumper you will see a screw and some push pins, That pull the flap and you will see the foglight and look further up you will see the parking and signal lights, splice them into the right wire (make sure you test) then thats it your done simple,....
some of mine burn out but I don't care it still looks good ...

they look better on the 3gen because the projectors give the light a sharp shape when looking at the headlights. the 2gen doesnt pull it off as well bc the bulbs just give out a bright blob so to speak when looking at them so it doesnt blend as well. but it looks like a really clean install and i cant say anything bad about a 2nd gen aspec so props haha
If Anything I would go for a More Mercedes type of LED DRL, I would use the little holes beneath the Fog Lights to do it but since my Fogs are currently being used for that mehh....
But hey it looks cool and if you like it!!
