Talking LED project - the radio

OKay, I've replaced the LCD on the clock, A/C, and the odometer displays. How it's time to do the radio LCD panel to match the whole thing up since the stock color of the radio is out of place here.

Question: Anyone knows how many bulbs behind that radio LCD display? Also, is it 5mm or 3mm??

Yeah i did search before asking...saw his posts but it was not mentioned what type of bulbs (5mm or 3mm) behind the Radio LCD and how many they are..arghh, i guess I have to crack it open. I know for sure though that they are not LED soldered into the board..they're tiny halogen bulbs like a/c panels, clock etc. I guess I'll just buy some blue LED and wait until the damn rain stop and have at it.

The radio can be done if you know how. I did to mine in red LED.
The radio has a surface mount very tiny bulbs and surface mount resistor. Remove the bulbs and resistors, and replace them with a 5mm LED and the correct value of surface muont resistors. Here is mine:

yeah, found the instructions from NateTL....radio is a major pain in the a**...I'm not going to touch on that one. I think I should stop at the a/c, clock and odometer LCD....total cost so far is $30 parts.

Damn, Man, you have so much time. I really admire your patience and thoughts. Do you have the instruction and equipment list that I need if I want to do the same thing here??

There is a site i found that offers LED replacement bulbs. Like the normal bulb behind my clock went the other day, and im ordering the Blue LED replacement bulb. No mods required. direct replacement.
