Leather care advice
Well I just bought my car awhile back and I'm checking the inside out and decide I'm not too happy with the leather. It seemed a little dirty. So I go out and get the Meguires Gold Class leather wipes and use those. It went on fine and made the seats look real slick, of course I didn't like that so I did what the can of wipes said to do and wiped them down with a towel and they seemed fine. Well this morning I get in and I was getting that "stick and slide" sensation if you know what I mean. Felt like I was sitting on vinyl.
Plus this afternoon I notice theres a black mark on the very bottom of the front of the backrest, where my black dress belt has rubbed a mark.
So my question is this - what is the plain and simple, no BS way to take care of the leather? I don't need them pristine, I just want them clean and supple. If it involves using a leather cleaner product, I'd like exact details on how to use it.

Aerospace 303 is one of the best protectants and is a low gloss product. Our seats have a coating on them that some cleaners/protectants can erode.
If you need a good cleaner try: Einzett, Matte Effect, or Lexol cleaner.
The Matte Effect comes in a kit that has a cleaner/protectant for about every surface you can find in your cockpit.

Look into products like Lexol, 303 and Pinnacle. Meguires wipes tend to leave a slicker finish. I don't use Lexol, but it's pretty mainstream. When I uses 303 or Pinnacle, I wiped down the seats with a damp Microfiber cloth and buff it with a dry one. Then I use 303 sparingly and buff dry as well. It leaves more of a matte finish. Less is more in this case. Pinnacle has a cleaner/conditioner spray.

I have been using Meguiars Gold Class Leather Wipes since day one and i love the results i get with it. But i go easy on the seats especially the driver side.Just 2 wipes and my car is done. The only bad part about is that i am a smoker and no matter how far i take my hand out to flick my cigerette some part of it comes back in the car messing up my seats and console.

Leather Care
To clean the leather in our car's (unless they are seriously neglected or stained) a warm damp Microfiber cloth is best, wipe it down and then follow up with a dry one to dry it off. As a follow up I use 303 for all my interior vinyl, Plastic and leather. I spray it on a MF cloth and then apply to the leather using little pressue, then follow up with a dry Mf towel to buff it out - leaves the seats looking brand new - not sticky or shiny.
I have used Meg's Gold Class cleaner/protector combo and it does almost as good a job as the above but I hate the smell of the product. Once a month I use Zymol Leather conditioner as it replaces the natural oils in the leather as well as brings back that new leather smell.
