My 2003 TL lease is up at the end of the month, it has only 24,000 miles. The buyout is $20,000. Is it worth buying, as to buy something new, i could not get as nice a vehicle. Any feedback would be apreciated!!

If you like the car, I would say go for it. You had the car since new so you know how the 24,000 miles were put on the car. If you looked after the car and put the miles on easy , I would go for it.

 

If you love the car go for it, i just got an 03 TL-S, everytime i look at it i am loving it even more. $20000? well its a good price, but if you really wanna feel the difference, go around for a test ride in the new one :-D, you will love it even more. just my $0.02

 

Find out what the kbb thinks your car is worth, and if kbb thinks its worth more than 20k, then hang on to it.

 

I don't understand leases. All it does is make you pay forever by making you get another car. I would buy the car.

 

Do what I did with my '95 Legend LS Coupe. I went to every Acura dealer in the area when my lease was up. Asked them if they wanted the car. I made a $1500 profit.

NEVER go into a lease expecting to buy the car at the end. You usually end up paying sales tax twice (depends on your state).

Find a dealer who wants it, and get an '05 TL.
