Leaking Battery

I opened the battery cover and it had blue acid from the negative terminal. Cleaned it off and have not seen anymore. What would make the battery leak? Whould it have to do anything with the cold air intake? I didnt disconect it when installing the intake.

Thanks guys

I have that too. The neg. terminal has blue-ish acid powder all around it, I heard you can just buy those battery lube thing? And just put it around the battery terminals, and it`ll prevent corrosion. Something I need to buy.

Clean the area with a baking soda and water solution to neutralize the acid, flush area with water, then spray with battery terminal protector.
