I was on a 3 lane road minding my own business. I was in the far left lane and I hear a loud engine in the far right lane. I couldn't tell what it was, because there was another car in between us. The light turns green and I start to go slowly. After he pulls ahead some I realized that it was a late 80's (I think) 5.0 Mustang. I didn't think much of it, until he started to speed up and hit his brakes twice, as if he was challenging me. It doesn't take much for me to race, so I thought why not. There was absolutely no one infront of us and the road is pretty well lit. Anyways, he must've thought I was just some ricer even though I'm all stock. For the record apperance wise I have a spoiler, tint, and springs.
So from about 10mph I gunned it in SS in 2nd which automatically switched back to 1st. As soon as I do, I hear him slam on his gas. I redlined and the car automatically shifted. I had about a half a car jump on him. I approached redline again in 2nd, but I waited just a bit too long, since I felt the fuel cutoff sputtering me. I quickly shifted to 3rd and after catching up for a second (due to my mistake), I started to pull away from him. I reached about 90 and slowed back down. I had a nice grin on my face to say the least. You would think it was over, since he flew past me after I slowed down. So he slows down and taunts me for more. I thought I may as well give him a rematch.
We lined back up going about 50 mph. I was waiting for him to gun it, but I guess he wanted me to make the first move since we kept going for awhile. I was about a half car length behind him when I slammed on it staying in 3rd. He steps on it and we're off. I'm at 60 then 70 then 80 and I see him slowly falling back. By the time I hit 100 I slowed again and just started laughing. I had to make my turn so I put on the hazards on waved at them. I was laughing hard with excitement and adreniline.
Ok so to his credit he had a passenger, possibly two. Then again I don't know that for sure, since he never got in front of me. hehe...

 

nice job, I had some fool Friday night in a old ass Dodge Stealth try me. I didn't even waste my time, mainly because I had a few drink earler and didn't feel like getting a DUI
