Labor cost question

My A/C just went out before I went to class this morning. The controls will light up and I can use everything normally. But it wont blow, no cold air or heat.

I think the heat has been broken for awhile, but I have not had to use it when I was back in Texas. I also felt the A/C was losing power for some time now.

Can any of you guys think of a ball park range price of what this will cost to have fixed at Acura?

i changed the blower out on a prelude once and it wasn't all that difficult. you may want to consider just doing it yourself if money is an issue. on the prelude we had to disconnect the A/C lines IIRC, so you would just need to get some R134a at your local parts store to refill it.

I would do it myself but to see what's wrong I have to pay $110 which goes towards my repair anyway )=

I'm going to pay the diagnostic fee and see what's wrong, then I guess i'll go from there. I probably need a new compressor.

A blown motor, that connector melted and something else went out. So $459 for everything.

Wanted $202 to fix my rear door handle. Fuck that! I can just do that myself. I'm having fun with this RDX though, I don't want my TL back.

+1 for getting my movie quote!

Yeah, I could have replaced it all but I didn't know what to look for and I didn't want to hassle with it so I just paid the labor and had it done.
