I'm ashamed to say that i still have stock tires... As I don't really want to spend too much money on this, I'm thinking about getting Kumho ECSTA 215/55-16. I know that stock tires are good only for one thing - freeway mileage. I do a lot of freeway driving, so I'm wondering how much worse it will be with Kumho??? Thanks.

I've had the same tires for about a year now and think they're great. Put about 13k miles on them and they appear to be wearing well, fairly quiet, and excellent handling wet or dry. When I get new rims I'll be getting more Kumho's. For myself, I don't see any reason to pay twice as much for tires when these do everything I need. I was hesitant to purchase at first but figured for that price if I didn't like them I wasn't out that much. Give'em a try, unless you're using your car for racing I don't think you'll be disappointed.
