In any case, I'm done looking to lay rubber for awhile-unless someone finds me...
Anyway, the neighbor has an '03 BMW 330ci with an upgraded exhaust. The mods tremondously helped my car as it was a hair slower than his before them and it is about two hairs quicker with them (and he had added the exhaust since we last ran around together). This was true from a stop through highways speeds as well. Anyway, he just got his wife an '02 Celica GT-S with this god-awful body kit. It has a Toyota Supercharger that sounds just beautiful but the car has ZERO torque...He paid $31,000 for the Celica that feels really quick when riding in it but is slower than his Bimmer...Poor guy...
Anyway, while we were screwing around Saturday night, an MB C32 AMG rolled up on us. It waxed us and badly...
Remember the post from the VW W8 fan about beating a TL-S by 5 lengths at 80mph? Yeah, right...No way...The MB had us by about 5 lengths at 100-not 80 and my car is modded...
Oh well, if I wanted 350hp, I woulda bought something else and ate beanie weenies for awhile.

 

31K for a celica even with a Supercharger, no way!

 

C32 AMG does the quarter in the 13s but at least 20K more than the Type-S.

 

There is no shame in being killed by an AMG/M/R/etc.

No kidding, if I got beat by an AMG/M, I would ask the guy for another run, just to hear the badd boy growl again. Did I mention that the E46 M3's are my dream car, but only because that has a much better chance of happening than an M5 does...even though that M3 is worth 2 of our cars...

 

I got home last night and my neighbor was grilling out. He was pretty drunk and still pi$$ed about his overpriced, undertorqued Celica...
Even worse, he is starting to realize it is REALLY ugly besdies being slow!
