killed a BMW 3 series i think it was a 1998

yeah so i was at a traffic light and a BMW pulls up next to me. so i look over and see 3 guys sitting in it all starting at me. at that point i think nothing of it, then i hear reving. so i look back and they are all still looking at me. So i'm like ok fine. i stick it to SS mode and switch off TC. when it hits green i floor it just enough so my wheels don't skid and i'm off.....after like 2 sec i was ahead of him by half a car length...i could see his hood at the corner of my eye ...at this point in i'm 2nd gear and i'm reving at near 5500rpm ....i shift to 3rd gear and it's all over ...heh he braked or something...anyway ...i think i won only cuz he had 3 ppl in it while i only had one.

so yeah i'm kinda happy although i'm sad about the gas i wasted and the engine wear and tear and the risk i took to race.
Don't worry there was no one on the street although i was rather lucky there were no cops.
so yeah ...i hardly ever race .....maybe 1 race every 6 months? .....it's just that those guys thought they were sooo cool in their BMW.

ANYWAY yeah just like to share my kill story....

Good kill! You did the right thing! Those guys revved at you first meaning they wanted to race, so let them know what your TL is made of. Good race and be safe!

Depending on if the car is a manual or automatic, and the driver of the manual, you should be able to beat all stock 3 series BMWs EXCEPT 330. However, the 328 is a close match.

I would think you would win at least against a 325. I raced a 325 4-door and won by a bumper, but hey I have a 4-cyl Accord. I hope that you would beat a 325 at least, oh yeah it was an auto against my 5-spd.

Ive raced a reeally fast 4 cyl man accord with dual exhaust =D
He had V-AFC all these guages, blackwidow kit... was pretty nice.
Pulled up next to him and made sure that he was a four banger because he was chirping thru them gears...

I think they do, most people go custom though. I'm not going to turbo this car so I haven't looked into it that much, if I do anything it will be a small shot of juice. But I don't see that happening either, one day I'll get a project car and just build and play with that.

206 Lb/Ft... Less than either TL. What it has is really, really low gearing, RWD and it's a compact car (or SubCompact in the case of the ci)

The 3 series is a great driving car.

you should be able to take him on pretty easily.. of course by opinion is heavily biased on the fact that i also have a 2000 TL-P.... but i think you should be able to beat it... more so if it's auto
