kicked in the nuts

ive had my car for only 4 weeks and i already have 3 door dings. i swear its like gettin kicked in the nuts, and you know i always park away from cars and on the last spot so one side is safe, but some @sshole manages to hit his fu@kin door against my car hard enough to leave a ding. this sucks. if i knew who did the three i swear i would break their windows with a sledge hammer.

i have pondered this...you know when you park so far away from the adjacent vehicle, you leave enough room such the passenger thinks it's ok to just push the door out. this is when the door detent (keeps door open/stopped halfway) kicks in and slams into your car. i think if you parked normally, people would know to watch the door movement and the door would never reach the detent. so if anything, it would just be a light rub without any damage.

Screw that, if i know that there will be no parking or tight parking, the TL stays home and the family hooptie(2000 century)comes out. I have one door ding on my car and you have to be in the perfect light at a perfect angle to see it at all, and it was my fathers fault he parked it too close to someone else. I park far far away, and i never take it to movies or anywhere where i will be longer than 30 min, unless its a house. School is good only for day classes. Night classes, the century creeps then too.

No matter how far away you park from some place, there will ALWAYS be an idiot parking right next to you even if the lot is empty.

in my last car, 2000 accord coupe, there was not a single scratch on that car for the 1.5 years that i owned it. most times i parked normally in the slot, and i only parked way out there when i was on the aisle.

the only first and last scratch(es) when someone carelessly totalled it for me!!!

but i got a new tl-s though!

Somone keyed my car for doin that! ALLLLLLL the way from the hood to the trunk on the driver side.... on a Fire engine red car! My g/f gets soo mad because I worry about parking close to people when we go out.. She says "it just a car" so I say "well is some one hits it you can pay to get it repainted,.... its just a car..":p

The last person that parked close to a friends car and door dung it came out to find a game of TIC/TAC/TOE etched on their hood from a hunting knife...

He found the paint chip stuck to their door, not like he got the wrong person...

I hear you bugs the crap out of me that someone can throw open a door, slam some ones car and just walk away...

It could be worse, I fvcking wrecked mine 'cuz some d!ckhead made an illegal turn while I was simultaneously being an idiot and I backed into him to the tune of $5,000.00 damage to my car (bumper, trunk lid, wing, and a little body work on the rear fender). At least I will get my door dings taken care of.
