K&N Intake Install Help - DYI anyone?
I need to install my K&N air filter. Right now I have just simply replaced the stock air filter with a K&N cai. I need to know how to remove the box that has that radiator thing in it with the 2 hose.
It is for a '99 3.2 TL
Anyone with photos?
Help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

You should check the DIY thread. Most of the time, you'll find what you're looking for.
Look I found this...

Look in the DIY section for Intake Resonator delete or resonator removal
Depending on year, there is 1 or 2 bolts holding the thing in
You may be able to move the left-driver inner fender plastic and reach it.
Otherwise remove the bumper cover- a few clips and bolts-
have friend on hand to move it safely off the car- now the box is right in front of you!
make sure to get the small plastic piece that tries to stay behind
You want free-clear airspace going to the 2 larger holes on the bottem of the airbox
If your car has the fake fog light openings
Cut the driver side open- either completely remove it with a dremel or cut between the lines with dremel so its a hidden opening in the grill
That will get even more outside air to the area
