K&N Drop in filter VS comptech uni?

K&N Drop in filter VS comptech uni?

i was just wondering if anyone tested the 2 filters to see which one get better hp or milage.. -_- any one know where the cheapest place to buy the K &n is? im leaning towards that.. i dont know im pretty open..

there is exactly 0 difference between them other than name and price. You wont gain much from a new filter, but you deffinately wont have any difference between the two. Be sure to take off your intake resonator to get a great sound from your intake...here is the link that shows you how its easy.

does removing the resonator help with preformance at all?

It will help a bit, but only minimally without an aftermarket intake. The resonator box is full of baffling to help reduce sound, but this also cuts down on the amount of airflow. By removing it, you clear a straight path for the incoming air. If you put a K&N drop in filter, and remove the resonator box, you should notice a difference in throttle response, and a nice induction rumble.

The Comptech filter is pretty good.....gives a nice whoosh sound when you shut the car off......as far as performance goes, i noticed a bit more response in 4th gear.....hard to tell anything in the other gears.
