After months of saving up, I finally order it! I just ordered my bodykit from autocarparts.com. I hope $829 was a good price. Shipping was pretty high($125). It doesn't matter about the price now, I ordered already. What do you guys think about a bodykit with no spoiler? Good or no good? Does anyone have pictures? I have a Black TL-S. Also where can I get it install besides the dealer? They are asking somewhere around $200.

 

Bodykit w/o a spoiler is nice. There are some pics floating around on here... not sure if they're of a black TL-S though.

Anyway, $829 is a good price.... not sure about the shipping, but it's probably pretty average as the kit is not a small piece to ship.

BTW... I'm officially jealous as I want a bodykit bad.... hopefully next year!!

 

I saw a silver TL-S w/bodykit and w/o spoiler and it looks VERY NICE!!! I just hope my black TL-S would looks just as nice or even nicer. I just don't want to lower my car, that's why i wanted a bodykit.

 

I have a black TLS with body kit no spoiler. I contemplated for a bit before I did it and I am glad I did. Without the spoiler looks more clean and individual. The kit definitely makes the car look more aggressive. I don't have a pic but after you install yours, post one.

 

You will defintely be happy with the bodykit. I just had mine for 2 weeks and I love it. I would recommend installing it yourself. Took me about 3 hours to do it. Here's a pic of mine

The kit looks GOOD. I paid C$1700 (US$1100) from a dealership, taxes included (15% in Ontario). Did the install myself. So what you paid sounds in-line with the going rate. So don't feel bad!

IMHO, I like the look with the OEM spoiler on it. Doesn't mean it looks terrible -- to each their own. Just make sure to get tints -- a black car with tints makes it look even better.

Actually I have tint already on my black TL-S, I have 20% all around. I don't know if I can install it by myself. I guess i'm worrying that i'll mess it up somehow and it is over $1k. I wish you guys that have installed it yourselves are local here in LA.

 

I like the addition of a spoiler.

 

Ray Laks Acura in NY is selling the kit for $829 (no shipping in the US). I ordered mine last week should be here by Wed/Thu this week. AND I'm gonna install myself. Don't know if you want to come to SD, but I'll help you out. Not sure if the gas and time is worth that much to you. Or you could give me $200 and maybe I'll just come to your house to install for you.

 

I may just have to take your offer. All the dealers are asking $300 for 3 hours of labor! How long do you think it'll take you? I'm not in a rush, i won't get my bodykit until next week or the week after.

Mine will be the first one I put on. From what I understand it should only take about 2 hours. I let you know how long it takes me to do mine, then we can set up time to do yours.

I'm still up in the air about the kit with no spoiler, it seems these days that your car is more unique without a spoiler than with. Here's a pic of my car without a spoiler with the kit on.

sssick: I agree. The TL looks very clean w/out the spoiler. I like it alot. However, I ordered the WW lip spoiler (flush mount) I really like the way it looks.

 

I am seriously considering the WW spoiler, I need to see it in person before I order it and get it painted tho.

NBP '03 TLS body kit no spoiler and rather have it that way especially when the dealer tends to install the spoiler and body kit together. It looks good either way but its nice to be different. I dropped the car with Apexi coilovers and running my friend's '03 6-speed CL-S rims looks different and different is good!

do it yourself is very easy, i don't have a rear spoilermyself , waiting for something new to come out, hopefully soon.

 

I agree it looks better w/o a spoiler, but what about an M5 spoiler w/ bodykit?
