Just installed short ram

I just installed my short ram. I didn't take the resonator out yet. Sounds soooooo good >3k. I think I'm going to burn a tank of gas just for that sound. Anyways, <3k is a different story. Is it supposed to make a wheezing sound? I'm wondering if I didn't tighten the claps enough. I check and they're pretty damn tight.

I just installed my AEM short ram this past Wednesday morning. I was surprised to hear that wheezing sound too. At first, I thought something got caught in my engine. It makes a funny sound too when I shut off the engine, almost like its taking one last dying gasp of air. I do appreciate it's overall quiet nature under moderate driving, and it's deeper growl when my right foot gets a little heavier and I want to be noticed by those around me.

As far as HP gains, I'm not sure if I feel anything extra. Maybe there is, but it could also just be in my head.

How do I remove the stock resonator? If I remove that, would I get more air flow to the filter?

I took my car to good year last week to get my oil changed and they did a 14 point inspection thing. Anyhow, they must've did some **** with the air filter or box b/c when I step on the gas, I feel some feedback as if the car's fighting to get air. Incidentally, I get this feedback every once in a while too, just a whole lot more noticeable after the good year service. After the AEM pipe went in, stepping on the gas feels smoooooth! So the hp gain might not be noticeable, but the smooth feeling when giving it gas and the rumble it makes is well worth the money.

The pipe does make a lot of wheezing during idle and I notice that "last gasp of air" too. It's normal I think. I do notice however, that the hose that plugs into the front of the pipe lies a whole lot closer to the lines leading to the battery's (+) terminal, an alignment issue I believe. I'm going to tie up the lines tomorrow so they don't touch the hot hose.

As for the resonator, you have to take off the front bumper. I've looked at the instructions and the actual bumper and I still don't know which clips and bolts the instructions are referring to. I'm sure it's an easy process, but I'm a picture person. Can someone be kind enough to post a pic w/ arrows or circles?

The bolts holding the resonator box are only visible when you take out them bumper. Some people have said you can take iut the resonator box through the wheel well but I doubt it.
