Thumbs up just installed my shock sensor!!!

it was easy.. and it works great! followed Mr. TL directions and you could do it in 30 min - as long as you have all the material and proper tools.

I have the DEI shock sensor and i might add a prox sensor on top of it. The only downside of adding sensors to the factory alarm is that there is no dual-zone option available. Like it won't give you a warning before the alarm goes off - so that means your sensitiviy level has to be exact.

in any case, i am happy with the result!

i haven't tried banging on my window.. i guess as long as there is enough force that will activate the sensor.. doesn't matter where you bang. I banged my hood and it went off.. i guess it depends on the sensitivity.

Where did you get the Sensor at? I went to a local shop and they only had the dual stage sensor as opposed to the single.

You didnt happen to get it online did you?
