Hey guys. This post would be good for all of you that have brake problems, like warping. I just recently went to the dealer for the second time with warped front rotors. They said that Acura has a biulletin board for that problem and they installed new rotors and softer pads. My first impression, is that those pads work better, I can feel that they are little softer the the ones I had before. Just to let you guys know. Sorry for long post.....

I also had my rotors and pads replaced a few weeks ago under warranty.....I feel more confident with the new pads and rotors also....I don't feel like I always have to slam the brakes to stop quickly....I have a 2000 with 25K miles.....

Everything was done under the warrantee. Didn't pay a cent. Oh yeah, they are also going to replace my whole seat cover, cause the vinyl strip cracked, also under warrantee.

When did you get your TL? I got my July 29, 2000. Now, it has 22k miles.

Well, I bought mine used.....2/15/01 with about 18K miles.....now I have almost 26K.......I drive about 50 miles\day just to work!

DUDE!!! that pisses me off...I complained about the seat cracking, and the f-ers told me that it was wear and tear...so they didn't replace it for me...which dealer did you go to???

I feel your pain. I got lucky with the seat, but I didn't get that lucky with paint job. Got hit with an egg and it ate thru paint. They said 'It's not manufactorer' deafect.
The dealer I went to is on east coast, MetroAcura.

I have an appointment with South Coast Acura, CA on Monday.
Head manager Sean said they have brake problem bullitin from Acura and will fix them under warranty. Also they will repaint my WDP bumper due to decoloration.

Mine is 7/2000 WDP and has 20K miles on it.

Are you having the rear bumper repainted?? I have WDP also, and the side skirts of the rear bumper are really discolored. The back isn't that bad. I have been thinking about bringing it to the dealer to see if they will repaint the bumper under warranty. I've already had some spots on the rear touched up, but they look like crap, cause it doesn't match perfectly.....let us know how the bumper comes out after being repainted.

Hey Jelly..how did you convince them to repaint your bumper? Did they say it was cuz of "fallout"?
