Just got my CT Headers!!!
Oh man! I love these things! I got them installed on Monday and at WOT it's awesome. Money well spent, expensive mod but well worth it. My rusted out, itty bitty stock ones look so pathetic compared to the CT's. I love my car even more now! Anyone wondering what mod to do first, get the headers!!!

Yeah... i loved my headers for about two months... then the car felt slow again b/c I got used to the power. Then I added the crank pulley .. and after a couple weeks, it felt slow again ..
ugh.. the woes of modding ... i wonder if i'd have gotten used to the power of the s/c

WOW girl! Congrats! Now take it to the track like I did and see what you can do. I was gonna do the intake but due to other things, it's on hold but soon I will get all that. For now, enjoy the new feeling.

while we're improvement mods. i have the K&N drop in filter, is there a big differance between that & the icebox or other intake systems, so far as performance. Congrats ' S lady, I have my comptech headers on the way, did you by them @ the cl group sale also?

Beware of Stone Racing Headers. There's a very recent post where someone is going through hell trying to get it installed. He's spent more than $1000 now trying to repeatedly install this header. He regrets not going with Comptech.

those prototype/opak racing headers were supposed to be much better in the low-mid end than the comptechs. to bad they were never realesed. some other company should make equal-length headers.

Installed my CT headers yesterday!!!
Definitely seems to rev up more easily and it certainly looks 1000x better than the dinky stock exhaust manifolds. Just to be safe, I put new exhaust manifold gaskets and new O2 sensors. The car runs like a dream.
FYI: For those considering a lower strut brace, the Cusco one works with the CT headers. If you look up the Neuspeed lower strut brace, it says it won't fit with CT headers; the Cusco ones fit.

you will definately notice the kick with the S/C, but you do seem to get to not remembering the differance after awhile - until you bury other folks you normally wouldn't. although the "whine" of the unit is still erotic!!
happy hunting!
