Im about to pull the right side doors off a 2000 TL but need to know if they will fit my 2003 TL-S...

I know the body year is 99-03 but was there a design change in between. .?

Please let me know... I would prefer a text if possible. ..

i went ahead and bought them... figure it will save me a grand in body work and paint...

funny thing, we didn't notice it at the time but (all we saw were scratches) someone keyed a cock and balls on the door lol

i noticed it when i was taking it out of the trunk... luckily i can take care of it...

i will post a pic tomorrow...

 

i was able to change out the front door today... i still need to swap out my tinted glass as well as do some research to find out how to remove my door lock to the new door...

a couple of note worthy finds were made...

the doors are in fact the same, whoever, i had to use the door wire harness from the 03' TL-S in the 00' TL door...

the 00' TL has one plug that goes into the body and connects to the side of the dash where the fuse box is...

the 03' TL-S has two plugs that goes into the body and so on... it was a very easy mod to do...

tomorrow i hope to be able to get the rear door on and then i will post a pic of the cock and balls lol...

here are a few from tonight... you can see the damage pretty good but the last pic kinda sucks, it was about 11pm tonight when we finished...








it wasn't easy doing the door with the fender on but we got it done

i figured out how to remove the door lock... you just need to slid the snap ring down and off...

I'm on Eibach's with Bilstein shocks in the upper perch position and love it, the way it should have come factory. I will probably drop to the lower (1/2") perch position when i change the wheels . I have only scraped once on a large speed but that was at the top of a little decent. I will post a pic for you when I get home later.

I ordered a set of F&F type one coil overs from a member on here...

I also ordered a new set of 225/50R17 tires...

Now i'm considering getting a set of wheels for her too lol
