I was wondering, can you do puddle lights without a body kit?

Yeah those are the ones I'm leaning towards now, does anyone have the link so I can wire them to my dome light thru passenger side fuse panel, also is there a way to wire the driver side up with out going all the way to the fuse panel on the passenger side.

I just ran the wires from up from the sideskirt through the right passenger door sill up the side pillar under the rear seat to the other side. A lot easier than going all the way around the car underneath and its protected from the elements

if you open your rear passenger door and pull up the door sill you'll see the holes that the door sill snaps into. So what i did was route the wire up from the last puddle lamp on the left side up from the sideskirt through that hole, then under the pillar garnish to the right of the door sill and then under the rear seat to the other side and repeat.

i thought puddle lights are the lights under a rear view mirror that shine down between the wheel and front door.

if you were going to put these on, why not just buy white street glows???

no because neons give you a nice solid glow. not little separate circles.

Ok, i bought the lights on ebay, and they sent me a message saying they are sold out. So I look on autolumation and their blue puddle lights only have 1 led in them, while the ebay ones have 4. would 1 led even be bright enough?

if not autolumation also has blue lights with 4 leds, but I would have to wire them all together myself. If I got the 4 blue led lights would the light be spread out, or would it look like circles like I want it to?

i had the jlevi red 1 led puddle lamps, they were not bright at all. I ended up going with the 5 led white ones off ebay, and i love em, can see em in the day like in that pic i posted. I'd get those 4 led white ones from autoilluminations. Set of 10 4 led white for only 30 bucks is a good price, i think i paid 60 for mine.

3 of my lights on my driverside went out. i drove over a pile of snow/ice about 2 weeks ago and i guess thats how it went out. if you guys are wondering how my lights touched the ice is because i dont have the lip kit so therefore the lights would not fit unless its hanging out of the holes that i drilled. anyways, the guy that i bought it from doesnt carry anymore WHITE colored ones. anyone know of any other place i can buy them for about the same price and with 5 LEDs in one piece?

nhn is there any way you could take a quick pic to show your setup from underneath. I'd consider these, but not if my winter conditions will ruin the lights like what happened to yours.

they are meant to turn on when your car is not moving, like when you are walking to your car and you unlock it, they turn on with the dome light and you can see if there are any puddles under the doors before you step in them... or something along those lines. you might as well get stupid neons if ur gonna drive with them on...
