can I beat a stock 1.8T jetta? I have intake and exhaust.

6spd TT is like 6.7or less from 0-60.
my car TL-P..da best i get is 7.5

 

Just make sure the jetta isn't chipped. Otherwise the TL-P will beat the jetta.

But beating a 6spd 225HP TT?? Nah it's not gonna happen.

 

Aint noway you gonna get a piece of the tities!! Unless it heavily modded. You're not gonna even get to see the tities!

i did spank a TT by a quarter car of length from 40mph to 100mph...

we have the advantage for the rolling...VTEC power

i also test drive the Golf GTi 1.8T...it feels weak after 50mph, our TL pulls much stronger...:flamer:

 

o well...TT wut kind of verion of TT are u talking about.
one is like 180 HP one is 225 HP
we can smoke da 180 one for sure..but 225 no..haha
also we do have advantage for VTEC but our car doesnt ahve enough low end tq thats one bad thing aobut Vtec too~

 

I have a Jetta VR6 and a TL-P (well my Jetta went back a week ago Thursday, due to the Lemon Law thing).

If the Jetta VR6 is an automatic, the TL-P will take it light-to-light, however, if your doing a rolling start at speed, the Jetta will walk the TL-P.

If the Jetta is the new 6 speed, your going to get handed your butt in almost everyway.

On a slightly different note, I read somewhere a guy was upset that a modded Civic beat him; personally I really don't care who beats me, for the following reasons:

1. Our TL's ARE JAPANESE, 4 DOOR FWD LUXURY CARS

2. Winning a race doesn't define who I am, nor do I race anyway

3. If I did want to win races, I would of purchased an SVT Cobra, WRX or Evolution, depending on my budget

Realizing this, with a lot of money just about any car can be made to be as fast as you want it to be.

i doubt i can beat him from standstill but we do have the midrange punch...

 

i wouldnt say that we would "wooop" a 1.8T. I have a TL-P with exhaust and intake on my car, and my girlfriend has a stock 1.8 T. The damn thing is pretty quick, I take it in 3rd but otherwise it hangs with me.

maunl is always have short gear ratio and i dont know if TT are light then us but however we might smoke TT if we go up to like 140km..becuase of da vtec and on high speed FF doesnt lose much power as AWD.thats wut i am try to said here
