Jealous of my TLS

Jealous of my TLS
Hello everyone!
Ever since I bought my TLS back in April, this co-worker (was a friend) is very jealous of my car. Never congradulated me on my purchase but to criticize that I should have bought an Accord for a lot less. He commented that the new face lift on the TLS is boring and it looks like the Accord and etc. No matter how I try to educate him on the difference between the two cars, he chose not to listen but still insisted that I over paid for my car and it's not worth it. I told him that he is just jealous of my ride and of course he denied it. By the way, his parents bought him a 95 Legend when he was 24 years old and in college. He is an arrogant, self centered, ignorant, materialistic b*stard. But overall, I am glad he showed me his other side so I won't waste any more time on him. Any ideas how I can shut him up forever? I apologize for the long post, but I just wanted to vent...thanks for listening! :p

Loving my 08 TLS!
The fool should be jealous. He has to rely on his parents to buy him a car at the age of 24 ( have no shame ) And you pay on your own. Tell him to shut the f*ck or you will have to smoke his a$$... heeheee!!

Someone at work gave me grief when I leased my Audi A6 a few years back. He said he got his Passat for thousands less and it's the "same" car. Whatever. If you know why you got the TL, that's good enough. There will always be some fool to doubt you. Stand firm my friend.

Jealousy will get him no where in life so just ignore that idiot. Just be glad that he's sweating your TL-S. And I think you should keep rubbing it in his face over and over and over and.......

Screw him!! Leave him alone my friend, he is jealous as hell and it's burning him up inside for sure. You don't need to associate yourself with such shallow people.....why bother. Your right about thanking him for showing you what he's about.
I had one guy at work constantly nag me about my "new" car. "Since you can afford that 2002, why don't you buy me lunch" Say what??, come again! Not once but all the time! He is riduculously jealous, I don't know why. It got so out of hand, I had to finally confront him and tell him what I think he's about....never said a word to me since. He shut up but now I better keep an eye on my car in the parking lot. You never know, people like that are capable of stooping down so low they'll fvck your car up if they can (always park farthest away with no other cars parked around it )

Man, what's he smoking.... I have a tl-s and a 2000 accord v6 and the two cars are totally different. He obviously doesn't know what he's talking about. Like the others said just forget him.

What is your jealous friend driving now? Is he still drives the 95 Legend? Don't even waste any time listening to someone who don't own a TL Type-S. We TL owners know that is a great vechicle.

Next time he spews his bile at you, just GRIN at him and tell him thanks for sharing. Then get into your car and enjoy yourself! And don't wait for him to catch up to you either!

:p I have a '91 Legend and the new '02 TL-S SSM w/navi and he is so jealous of you. I use my '91 Legend for driving back and forth to work for the mileage and the TL-S for enjoyment. The TL-S is sooo sweet, enjoy and forget about him.

Haters!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate jeaolus people! When I got my 99' ES300, all I heard was, "nice hooked up camry!" I too have a camry and it's different. I havent heard anything about my TLS being an accord, but I know they are different. You get what you paid for and that's all I can say. There's reasons why the accord and TL have a price difference. Just ignore that fool. Make sure he sees your car when it's always clean and shiny.
