JDM window visor question
JDM window visor question
I just picked up a set of used JDM window visors. My question is, is it neccessary to remove the old double sided tape and apply new double sided tape?
Thank you
Thank you
I got it used from the black market but you can purchase the oem honda inspire window visors from our vendor MrHeeltoe. But just to warn you it could take over a month to get them. Otherwise you can go the cheap route and get weathertech window visors. Anyways back on topic. Can anyone tell me how to install the clips and screws?

This is the thread that helped me the most. It's hard to explain, but basically you take out part of the rubber window lining where the clips are shown on the Japanese instructions. Hold the visors up to the window and align them where they're suppose to be. The tabs at the ends should help you hold them up a bit to align, insert the clips (one at a time, make sure they're on the right way), align the clips with the screw holes on the visor, and shove the window liner back in as you go one clip at a time to hold the clip in place. Then screw in the visor to the clips, making sure the tabs at the ends are secure. After that, I just pulled on the visors so there was a little gap between the car and the visor and took off the double sided tape strip. Made sure it was aligned and pressed on it. Make sure your window liner is shoved back in and smoothed out. Hope this helps somewhat haha. It's tricky, but in the end, pretty easy.

IMO you should've bought these ones, no tape + no clips = no hassles. Just pressure fit and away you go.

This thread has a great comparison between the Weathertech and JDM
White = Weathertech
Black = JDM

I'm not sure if you can still put in the clips after you put the tape on. It seems possible though.
