JDM version

i just found out the JDM version of the TL (honda inspire/sabre) they do not have D4 on their shift gate, however it's still a 5spd auto and 260hp

D3 is not.

Looks like the pic itself is incorrect but i cant tell from the pic of the shiftgate




This was a problem with the 5 speed auto Honda Odyssey's here. Many people wanted a D4 position for the shifter.

It doesn't really matter. D5 and D4 are so close in ratios, they figured it wouldn't make a difference. But I'm sure you could still hold 4th if you wanted.

Dodge does this, too. They don't have 1 or 2 -- just an L then 3 and 4.

I was kinda hoping that maybe the tranny used in the J-Spec has perhaps a different gear ratio setting or something. Perhaps those tranny aren't being affected by the weak 3rd gear clutch pack?
