^^ ignore
on the diagram on 3rd gen forum
orange(signal, other wire)=signal wire
green(Power)=connect to side of harness from where u cut it, so the bare end of the harness, to the vcm
red(ground)=ground wire
purple(power)=conenct to side of sidemarker, with the wire dangling out, so the bare end of the wire, to the side marker
so pretty much he wants u to cut the harness from the side marker with some wire on the end of the sidemarker itself, and connect like so. if u do that method, i would solder and heatshrink....elect tape will not cut it.

ok i kinda still dont it lol sorry im dumb. ok there is only four wires on the relay. if three of them goes to the signal bulb it self and one goes to the side marker. what about the other wire on the side marker

youre making things more complicated than what they really are. You cut, splice and tap into the corner bulb wires. You arent leaving anything disconnected from the corner lights. If the relay is too hard for you, then its not for you. Just wire up the sidemarkers straight to the corners and thats it. the wiring should take you no more than 5-10 minutes on each side.

I'm not home at the moment to take an up-close picture, but look at the picture in the link below and you can make out the general shape of the light and bulkiness.
I think the JDM UA5 side marker may be model specific for our cars.
