And make sure when you wire them up, the only turn on as turn signals and dont stay turned on. They arent clearance lights.

dont necessary need a template, just border off the area u want, and get somewhat a base cut started, then go wider and wider, and keep test fitting, first side i did took close to an hour with lil breaks in between and test fits, 2nd time just killed it in like 20 min.

front turn signal, theres barely any current draw to use a resistor.
also what i did for practice instead of just going at it, bought a sheet of sheet metal at home depot, then practiced. got a good fit on one, then somewhat traced the base size of it onto cardboard, transfer to the fender, and go at it.

i tried making this relay but i dont know where to hook the other two wires. the only two i know is the side marker. this relay https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/g-043-blinking-sidemarker-diy-guide-suitable-3g-garage-703668/

you dont need a relay. Just wire it up to your corners. should be 3 wires. 1 ground, 1 constant power, 1 blinker. If you want it to stay on find out which wire is constant power. If its red, thats it. If you want them only to turn on when turn signals are on, then its the blinker wire, which may be green. I know civics and integras are green so dont quote me on that one.

^^ ignore
on the diagram on 3rd gen forum
orange(signal, other wire)=signal wire
green(Power)=connect to side of harness from where u cut it, so the bare end of the harness, to the vcm
red(ground)=ground wire
purple(power)=conenct to side of sidemarker, with the wire dangling out, so the bare end of the wire, to the side marker
so pretty much he wants u to cut the harness from the side marker with some wire on the end of the sidemarker itself, and connect like so. if u do that method, i would solder and heatshrink....elect tape will not cut it.
