What kinda parts does Japan have for the 2gen TL that we cant get our hands on? i kno the Mugen lip spoiler is one, what other parts are there. visual and performance

Go to aj-racing.com ... they have all the 2nd gen (UA4 / UA5) TL parts you need. By the way, a new Mugen spoiler is no where to be found unless you know a dealer in Japan. King Motorsports can't get them since they have been discontinued.

inspire/saber not sure, diff models like we got type s tl, compared to tl-p. thats my guess

inspire=low version wit plush seats n shit

and saber=high end, wood grain, more options..

Saber / Inspire are virtually the same thing. Weird thing about Japan is that Honda dealers use 2 distribution channels. Inspire is from one channel; Saber is for the other channel. Based upon what I've seen, both the Inspire & Saber can be ordered with a 2.5L engine. The Inspire did have the Type-S version available; I'm not sure if the Saber had a Type-S or not.

As for the "Inspire" being the lower end ... why would most of us do the JDM conversion with the 'lower end' product?

with an inspire and saber, u can still change engine sizes? lol wtf is teh point in two diff model cars, two diff names...

is an inspire only 99-01 and a saber is 02-03?

inspire meaning tlp, wit a inspire....im guessing that we can get our hands on only the "inspire" parts, and the saber, is like how we have an a-spec here, and u cant buy a spec parts without the vin, same system is whats goin on dere i assume......
is leather a downgrade cuz teh sabe has leather and inspire doesnt lol. See, with there "Saber" its all leather, wood grain everything, and u get the a spec spoiler, rims, kit.......lol im gonna do a saber conversion lol...

no performance parts? i was always curious if there were any mugen performace parts available for the TL as well. never hear about mugen performance parts on the forum and searches always show threads about the lip only.

Hi Guys

Inspires and Sabers both come with the J25 and J30's.

I've never seen a UA5 without leather and likewise the UA4 never with leather.

I've also seen 1 Saber Type-S but not sure if it was a typo or not.

Would like to get an inspire/saber but the transmission kinda scares me, although the trans could come from a cg accord.

The 3rd gen inspire in Japan is the 7th gen accord. Japan doesn't get the 3rd gen TL.

As Derrick said, Saber and Inspire are virtually the same thing. They are just to be sold at 2 distribution channels in Japan by using two names. The only differences of Inspire and Saber are all about exterior.

ok this kinda got out of hand lol but to the matter at hand what jdm parts are we not able to get here besides the mugen spoiler. the reason im pressing this issue is cause ill be in an area where they sell the inspire and they have more access to jdm parts. if i can get my hands on them ill bring them back
