The footwell lighting which I sell plugs directly into the dome light wiring harness from the fuse box. Real easy.

I think you could do it. Just watch you don't overload it. Don't use the actual headlight circuits.

ALFAV6, do you have any pics, yet? How did you wire yours up, and when/how do they come on?
I want to wire some up so that they come on with the dome light. I'll also set up a switch so I can turn them off if I need to (ie, cops). No intentions of having them on when I'm driving, just when the dome light is on.
Thanks.

I think the JDM is green.

I think it's illegal to have it on when your car is in motion.

I have the JDM footwell light from ValueTL. Real easy to install. The original bulbs are green iun color. The bulbs are the small type (don't know exact name/#) but I think they are the same as those behind the dash. I am going to wire them to a pair of hyperwhite 168. I already got the socket for them. Just need to custom fit them and do some soldering.

You can also buy the little colored covers for the lights. The original ones are green but Radio shack has a bunch of different colors to pick from.

Hey mike,

Is there a switch for the footwell light? I remember seeing a pic for the switch, but I m not sure if it was for footwell light or not.

No switch that I know of. Works of your door light circuits. Connects into the dome light wiring.

If you buy from Mike, it comes with very good instructions. No worries there. And it is a JDM parts, everything fits.

Sim in the passenger fusebox look for a green rectangular connector with 4 wires coming out of it. Look towards the top of the fuse box. Unplug it with the door open to verify you have the dome circuit.

I got some bright blue neons...and i was trying to installing them to the Dome light. ValueTL is right....the dome wires are the 4 wires comming from a green rectangular connector on the passenger side. But i don't know what function each of the 4 pins play. this is what i have found out

-----------
|1|2|3|4|
-----------
....|--|.....

Pin 2 is always at +12V, no matter if the dome light is on or off
and Pin 1,3,4 are always at 0V, matter if dome light is on or off.

I can't see how i would wire the neons to go on when the dome light is on when there is always a contant +12V power supply.

Could anyone help me how to wire them or anyone who has a Helems manual help me out thanks
