JDM Folding TL Mirror, fit on an Accord?
I have a friend who is stationed over in Japan somewhere for school and he went to a import performance store that had a set of Inspire folding mirrors. The guy told him they fit the Saber which was the same as the Accord here in the United States. Is this correct?
Does anyone have these, and how much do they usually cost?

the automatic folding side mirrors is common in Asia where parking spots are tight so you have to fold the mirrors in when you pull into the lot. Saber is a TL
If you purchase the folding mirror you will lose the heated mirror function

NighthawkBlack has them on his TL. I believe angle needs to be re-adjusted because the driver seat is in right hand side in Japan. And YES, you'll loose heated mirror function.

About the power folding mirror, you can wire them to your alarm and fold them with remote, too.

This is said as "auto retractable mirror system" that is installed as an option of standard power folding mirrors. All of the Accord here in Japan has power folding mirrors as a standard equipment.
According to the explanation in the webpage, by installing auto retractable mirror system the mirrors are folded when the door of driver's side is closed and they are unfolded when the ignition key is placed in the key cylinder.
I have never know this and I like this, but unfortunately it is said that this option is only available for Accord here and will not fit Saber-Inspire-TL.

Mine is Saber JDM.
This has power folding mirrors.
The switch is on the armrest of the driver's side.
The small button on the upper left of the picture is the switch.

That switch is used to activate our heated mirrors on our US North American market TL's.
As for NightHawkBlack installing them on his TL, I wonder if he switched the actual mirrors so that he's not driving around with "Object may seem closer then thay appear" mirror on the drivers side.
I guess there isn't enough room for the mechanism to fit the heated mirrors and motor/gear box for the folding mirrors in the mirror housing.

I am fine thank you!
Well, my Saber has some minor issues that are squeezing from both seatbelt buckles of the front seats, rattle in left C pillar, loose linkage between driver's door handle and door lock and etc.
However these will be repaired under warranty very soon.
I am still enjoying my Saber very well.

If I can get heated mirrors, I will be really happy.

All of the cars I owned and drove in Japan the folding mirrors work with a dash or arm rest mounted switch. No automatic operation when the door opens ect. It is usually a installed factory standard feature. Maybe not on the really cheapo cars.

I could find out the part from the part manual of Saber JDM.
The part# is said 35190-S0K-J01ZA and the description is Switch Assy, Remote Control Mirror.
Attached please find a drawing.
Hope this helps you people even a little.
